In this episode I have the pleasure of chatting with the lovely Colette Reilly. Colette is a personal and business coach, a Director of Potential in Me, a ponder of big questions and a tea Jenny.

We talk about the power of play, both in our personal and professional life. When people are relaxed and happy they are more productive, creative and the work environment is much healthier. The power of play is undervalued in today’s society. Taking time to do things that are fun, relaxing and nurture your soul is never a bad thing. It has a ripple effect in our personal and professional lives.

Here are a few thought bomb takeaways:

  • Let’s take life a little less seriously. Play makes life and your career more enjoyable and more so it makes us more resourceful, it makes us show up better in every aspect of our lives;
  • Life is not that hard, making good stuff happen is not that hard. You need to decide what you want and take some action. Everything else is overthinking; and finally
  • At the end of the day we are not our thinking, we do not have to believe every thought that we think – this is also at the heart of my coaching. You will hear through these podcasts myself and my guests refer to the 3P or the 3 principles. In a nutshell, we are always and only living in the experience of our thoughts in the moment. We’ll be diving more into that in future episodes.

Until next time: Be well. Be inspired. Be You.
