I am a passionate person who enjoys all that life has to offer. I LOVE to laugh, sit in quiet moments, being inside watching a storm and outside dancing in the rain. Travel is my lifelong classroom, I love being new places and learning about new cultures. I deeply appreciate anyone who cooks for me, a nice glass of red wine, having belly laughs with my little guy and impromptu get togethers with friends. Life is meant to be loved, enjoyed and moments embraced.
Don’t look for external validation to fix your inner thinking.
I live a very blessed and beautiful life. I live in the here and now, with immense gratitude for all that is. I stepped off the hamster wheel of living in the past, dropped the if only and when, etc. because all that we have is this moment. I no longer try to control my circumstances, relationships, or my life. I dance with the ebb and flow of life.
My past: On the outside, I looked like I was flourishing in my life. Even though I could check all the boxes on the life wheel of success, I was anxious, restless and lived in a constant state of worry. In addition to worry, I danced with feelings of inadequacy, doubt, and not being enough. I let these feelings drive my existence, which heavily influenced my personal and professional life and relationships. Eventually, I could no longer hide the pool of anxiety I was swimming in. I was ashamed of this (which caused me to feel anxious) and worked hard to hide it (which also caused me to feel anxious). I completely broke. I was fed-up, tired and done.
Then I Woke Up
I was only done for that moment in time. After much time and reflection, I decided I wanted to have a better quality of life – for both myself and with my son. I also wanted a career where I was able to help people and spend a portion of my time working with children. I took a scary leap of faith and left the corporate world. Then I spent time furthering my training in the field of human psychology and have never looked back. I still get to work in the corporate world, but in a completely different context. I now have the privilege of working with amazing people (from young to old) in a variety of circumstances and thanks to technology, I work clients around the globe.

Jessie-Lynn MacDonald, B.A., M.A. is a mental health and well-being consultant, coach and facilitator. Her work is inspired by the Three Principles approach – a subtractive psychology which highlights how the mind works and uncovers human potential. This approach allows clients to embrace a greater sense of innate well-being, wisdom and clarity. The result is a transformation in connection, potential and resilience both personally and professionally.
Jessie-Lynn has a particular passion for helping children, and anything to do with making their lives better. She works one on one, in schools and delivers various workshops to help children uncover their own innate wisdom, resilience and well-being.
She is honoured to be a Canadian mentor for the WOW (Web of Well-Being) project, a global initiative to help young people see the power of innate well-being.
